Pocket Sketchbooks

RED TYPE INK has designed a series of six Pocket Sketchbooks that feature iconic images drawn from our large collection of vintage art reference catalogs. Published in China during the 1970s, the anonymous artists who created these images combined the styles of traditional woodblock prints with the graphic power of poster art. Printed like the originals in striking red and black ink, the pocket sketchbooks in this collection have been selected to reflect the range of vivid and engaging work fashioned by these artists. Brilliant illustrations continue on the inside endpapers and flyleaf, opening into contrasting graph and blank pages.
