Shanghai Collection

RED TYPE INK has designed a series of Notecard Box Sets, Postcard Books and individual Notecards drawn from the collection of the Shanghai Propaganda Poster Art Center, a private museum in Shanghai that contains over 4,000 posters, woodcuts and ephemera dating back to the beginning of the Chinese Revolution in 1949. The anonymous artists who created these Posters and Woodcuts recast classical themes and motifs within the context of a new China. Thousands of Propaganda Posters were designed and tens of thousands were printed. Red Type Ink has created  and printed this unique series of products with the mission of broadening awareness and appreciation of 20th Century Chinese art and design.
